How often should I clean my carpets?

Regular cleaning and proper carpet care can considerably extend the shelf life of your carpets. Dirty carpets are loaded with unseen soils, allergens and bacteria that can cause damage to your carpet and health. It is highly recommended to opt for a professional carpet cleaning every 6 to 12 months, depending on your usage. However, commercial and office spaces need to opt for commercial carpet cleaning more frequently, like monthly or every two months. For high-quality and prompt office carpet leather cleaning or commercial carpet cleaning, give us a call today.

How long will it take for the carpets to dry after cleaning?

The drying time of carpets depends on the type of carpet, humidity, weather conditions and several other factors. On an average, it takes approximately 4 to 5 hours for a steam cleaned carpet to dry. While on the other hand, carpet that has been cleaned using the carpet dry cleaning technique will take only 1 to 2 hours to dry.

How long do I have to stay off the carpet after cleaning?

You may walk on the carpet straight away. The carpets will only be slightly damp after cleaning. Thus, it’s highly advisable to avoid wearing street shoes as they may soil the carpets again. We recommend clean socks, slippers or bare feet. However, be extra careful when walking from carpeted areas to hard floors to avoid slipping.

Will all carpet stains be removed?

Yes. Our highly trained professional use high-quality cleaning solutions to get the job done right. Moreover, they know which stain treatments to use for different types of stains. However, sometimes the carpet type and age of stain can make it difficult to remove. But we ensure to do our best and deliver the best possible results.

Can you remove pet stains and smells from rugs?

Yes, we can. We have dedicated products and technique to specifically get rid of pet urine stains and smells. Moreover, our proven rug cleaning technique ensures that all the bacteria is eliminated and the rugs are left sanitised, hygienically clean and smelling fresh.

How often should I opt for mattress and upholstery cleaning?

Mattresses should be vacuumed regularly and professionally cleaned every six months. You can wash the mattress protector yourself every few weeks. You should go for professional upholstery cleaning at least once a year.

Why do I need tile grout cleaning and sealing?

Like carpets, dirt also builds up on your bathroom, laundry or kitchen tiles. This can make them look dull or discoloured. Opting for a thorough and professional tile grout cleaning and sealing eradicates deep-down dirt, making your floor look fresh and clean.

Can I get a quote for carpet cleaning over the phone?

Yes, we can offer you a price quote for carpet cleaning services in Melbourne! We will ask you a few questions, like type and condition of the carpet, room size, etc. Once you give us those details, we can fairly provide you with a price quote over the phone. Our quote is all inclusive and we don’t have any hidden charges. Usually, the price we provide over the phone is accurate, unless the carpets are much dirtier or the size differs then described. If that’s the case, we’ll adjust the quote accordingly.

Client's Reviews

Pam

Outstanding tile cleaning in a pool room that looked like it hosted 1000s of line dancers in their gumboots over a period of 10 years. It was simply dismal. The Pristine crew did a magnificent job bringing the floor back to its original "pristine" state. Very, very impressed! Thank you!

Tim Thornbrough

Foti was a lifesaver for us.

After discovering our 15th-floor apartment had accidentally flooded, I contacted Pristine Carpet Care. Once we'd swept most of the 2cm of standing water into the bathroom, Foti offered to lend us carpet dryers.

I'd already hired a carpet cleaner from Bunnings and emptied its 4L tank 25–30 times. Once the carpet had stopped squishing underfoot, I went to pick up the dryers. Foti showed me how to use them, and I headed straight home to set them up. Within 18 hours of discovering the flood, the carpets were dry and the master bedroom was reassembled and ready for a well-deserved sleep.

Thank you, Foti, for being so helpful at a very stressful time for us and our downstairs neighbours. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Prue Munro

A huge thank you to Foti at Pristine Carpet Care for the exceptional service!

My new home had been sitting empty for a few months before I moved in, and although the carpets had been cleaned after the previous owner moved out, they had developed a musty smell that I wanted to have removed.

Foti was an absolute pleasure to deal with from start to finish—friendly, professional, and a true expert in this field. The difference is incredible!

The musty smell has completely disappeared, the carpets look so much cleaner, and the whole home smells fresh and beautiful. It's made such a difference and has made my home feel truly ready for move-in.

I love supporting local businesses, especially when the service is this exceptional and I won't be going anywhere else for my carpets in the future.

Thanks so much, Foti, for the fantastic job and for helping make my new home feel fresh, clean, and welcoming. Highly recommend!!

A huge thankyou to you Bruce, you have made my carpets look like new. Bruce is a great worker and very knowledgeable and pleasant, (even if he doe barrack for Collingwood). I am so pleased and will certainly recommend your business to all of my friends. Thank you to all at Pristine carpets. Di Smith.

Wendy Mazzarella

Amazing service and exceptional cleaning professionals. Foti and his team knew exactly how to clean stains out of our carpets and provided a deep clean that dried very quickly. Will definitely be using them again. Thank you

Jo'Ann Taylor

Bruce from Pristine Property Cleaning was not only polite and friendly but had a wealth of experience and knowledge. The carpets came up beautifully and he even managed to vastly improve a stubborn stain that had been there for at least 3years, hiding under a rug!(rug now gone, yah). I can’t recommend them enough. Thank you Bruce, you did an outstanding job.

Rosalba Fogliani

Bruce and Foti (and lucky future clients!)

This is a big thank you. I want to be writing an amazing review for Pristine. People need to know how great you are.

Foti, thank you. Bruce works so well. He’s extraordinary.

I was about to write to Bruce to thank him but thought it’s better to write to you both as it’s best the boss knows how happy the client is with the staff :) and I’m posting this as your other potential clients can benefit too.

Pristine has done great jobs for me many times before but because the last 12 hours approx of cleaning have been done in my home, this was the first time that I was there to see just how well Bruce works. He did all jobs requested, and as well, on the way and as he exited, of his own volition, he did a few more small things .. how very diligent and thoughtful of him…

… plus he checked and further spot cleaned what he had already cleaned here the other day - in his first four hours here - very professional of him.

He takes pride in his work and he has every reason to feel proud. He’s exceptional.

On top of everything else, Bruce, as you worked hard and at speed, you gave me very good tips on how to address various other issues you could spot. You have a very broad knowledge about homes maintenance and are generous about imparting it, all the while working hard.

I’ll repeat this in other words because you deserve the accolades. You chat amiably giving good advice, but you do not stop the actual work, and you worked hard all day long, for 8 hours, despite invites to rest and have a drink and a snack. You’re gracious in accepting a bit of hospitality but you give it moments only. It’s very respectful of you.

As if that was not already enough, the energy with which you worked and talked, inspired me to keep a cracking pace myself 😂 as I tidied at one end or other of the house all day too! A lot got achieved :)

You should see the photos for before and after. I tried posting and couldn’t. I might try again shortly.
Such a satisfying improvement.

In 8 hours Bruce cleaned 18 of these leather segments of couch plus 3 foam mattresses and a bed head, none of which had been cleaned in 15-20 years!

🌟You’re truly amazing Bruce🌟

🌟Thank you Foti and Bruce🌟

Pankaj Fichadia

Bruce brought some good old fashioned customer service and rug care advice during our rug cleaning. Did a great and thorough job and we are very happy with the final outcome. Was great talking to you Bruce. I recommend this service.

I had a bit of a domestic disaster when my cat decided to take a stroll across my acrylic paint palette and then parade across the couch, leaving festive red and green paw prints like a chaotic holiday card. In a panic, I tried to clean it myself, but only managed to spread the mess and make the stain worse. Enter Bruce from Pristine Service Group—calm, professional, and refreshingly honest. He didn’t make any grand promises, which I appreciated, but what he delivered was nothing short of magic.

Bruce managed to remove about 99% of the paint stains, and now my couch looks almost brand new. The best part? The service was incredibly affordable, especially considering the quality of work and the stellar customer care. Bruce was friendly, efficient, and clearly knew his stuff. If you’re dealing with a mess that feels hopeless, I can’t recommend Pristine Service Group—and Bruce in particular—highly enough.

Tanya Morgan

Having a brother who ran a similar company in another state, our standards and expectations were high. Bruce from Pristine Carpet Care did an amazing job cleaning the carpet & upholstery in my son's apartment. He was prompt, extremely skilled and very informative about after care. We will definitely use this company again. Pristine by name & nature!

Giuliana Salera

Foti and Bruce are true professionals and their service is 5 star....our carpets have been back to life...thank you .
Definitely recommended.

Paul Fyffe

Bruce cleaned our carpets a few days ago and provided an excellent service. Bruce was punctual and thorough. The results of his work were very impressive and actually beyond our expectations. I was impressed at Bruce's attention to detail and the tips he gave us to help maintain our carpets. Bruce did all this with minimum intrusion, considering the large amount of carpet we have.

Evelyn Wraith

WOW now that is what true professional friendly customer service is all about - why can’t all companies operate like Pristine.
I had Foti & Bruce make my carpets & sofa feel & look like new again, it had been a few years since they looked so good & felt so clean.
I have used many carpet services over many years & have always been so disappointed or ripped off… but now at last Pristine are my go to…. always!.
From the start to the finish, friendly professional service from presentation, vans & equipement, quality all the way.

Sharona JARMAN
